Indonesia as a majority Moslem citizen’s country has a great potential on strengthened Islam economy. Unfortunately, the connection between Moslem entrepreneurs in Indonesia is still far from what we hope. Then, this Moslem economic potential power is not optimally done yet.
In order to strengthen Moslem economy, in front of 300 of Moslem entrepreneurs, on August 9th 2009 is declared the opening of Indonesian Islamic Business Forum (IIBF). That has vision to build Moslem entrepreneurs’ strong network in this country. The declaration is attended by the great entrepreneurs in Semarang, they are: Former of Central Java Governor Ali Mufidz, Hasan Toha Putra, Soewanto, Basuki, Imam Syafi’i, Heru Isnawan, etc.
Present, Moslem entrepreneurs are walking by their own without strong network support. “By IIBF, we want to build the dream of future Indonesia wealth in the middle of unavoidable competition era. Besides that, IIBF also want to prove to the world that the Moslem entrepreneurs and Islam economy can do lots and can be strong.” Heppy said in the middle of declaration at Semarang, Central Java. He is optimistic, IIBF will create a million of Moslem entrepreneurs which will be the strength of Indonesia economy on 2020.
For creating the strong Moslem entrepreneurs, IIBF will build new culture of business knowledge and entrepreneurship trough business coach. As he thought, the succession in Indonesia business is the part of nation’s wealth. He exampling the ratio of research result to the rich people summary which he thought are success in their business. “From 210 million of people, there are only 250 thousands of success people. This is so far comparing with Singapore which has not more than 3 million people, but it has 770 thousands of success people.”
There are three parts that IIBF handle. First, build the link or network between entrepreneurs in order they can work together and help each other. “It must be build to be a culture. For example when they meet, they can giving support for each business.” He said.
Second, the entrepreneurs’ skill development trough the training program and making module or guide book. So the important thing that we have to paid attention to is that the Indonesian Entrepreneurs must study hard and read. “American read for about 2-3 books a day. If we want to be strong entrepreneurs, we have to be like them.” He pointed.
Third, giving coaching or guiding. Without guiding, entrepreneurs often lose direction because there’s no one that dares to remind. On United States, company with 500 employees must be having a business coach. On England, every company that issued credit is required to have business coach.
IIBF is built with main goal to create Clever Entrepreneurs for Indonesia development.
